The electronics we offer here have been tried and tested by kayak fishermen and have proven to withstand the harsh elements encountered while kayak fishing. Rest assured that all of these electronics have been put the test on the water by our experienced pro-staff before being offered to you.
Electronic replacement parts should always be a part of every kayak angler's tackle box. Always have some readily available, its better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Using the right parts will also make any installation easier and less time consuming. We offer the best in kayak fishing parts!
Within our Hardware section, we have the most common items found on most sit on top kayaks that often need replacing. It's a good idea to keep some spare parts on hand in case you ever bust off an eyelet or snap your bungee storage.
Storage hatches are a great place to keep tackle, extra clothes, a lunch or anything else you don't need constant access to. We offer a variety of hatch styles and sizes to accommodate most sit on top kayak models. Most hatches include a foam gasket.
Yes lights on a kayak, there two types of lights that can be used to make sure you are seen in low light conditions. Standard battery operated ones usually with aa or c cell batteries and also the 12v running light systems you would normally see on power boats. If venturing out before dusk or after the sun goes down have one of these types on your kayak. In many states the law states you must have an all around light for your own safety. Check out our headlamp as well it has a rear light on it as well for signal to people that stern of you.
Mounts are made for rod holders, GPS, fish-finders, lights, etc. Mount are usually comprised of two types: flush mounted where the mount is placed in a cut out in your kayak and secured by rivets or stainless hardware. The other is a on deck style where you will mount it on a flat section of your kayak. All will get the job done, just pick the one that works best for your application.
There are many parts that can break or simply wear out over time on your kayak. We have put together an inventory of Rigging&Repair parts that will allow you to replace or ad to your kayak. Check out our articles section for many DIY tips and installations. Having problems give us a call and we can walk you through it.
Whether you are going out with 1 or 10 rods you will want rod holders. Having rod-holders in convenient locations on your kayak will make your kayak fishing experiences that much more enjoyable. You would hate to loose that lifetime fish due to a tangle in rods or other equipment. They are also a great place for storing your gaff or nets. They come in flush mount style and deck mounted styles. Flush mounts are nice because the don't allow for line to get caught on them while fighting a fish. Flush mount also provide for a secure installation allowing any pressure on the rod holder to be spread through the kayak. Make sure that you have enough girth in your kayak to accommodate the flush mounts. Measure twice cut once. Deck mount styles are for kayak fishermen who like to get some extension on the rods or might not be able to mount the flush mounts on there kayak. The bases can come in circular, square, or rectangle and are secured by rivets or stainless hardware.
