Bassyaks is a small shop in Southeastern Connecticut that builds what we feel to be the ultimate trolling kayak while keeping the cost down and the performance up allowing you a better fishing experience.

 BassYaks powered kayaks are perfect for hands-free fishing. No more hitting the line with the paddle, no more getting pulled by fish into dangerous positions.  All BassYaks motors feature both forward and reverse speed control.


Powered by modified Minn-Kota trolling motors, with foot pedal steering and remote throttle controls leaving your hands free for fishing, photographing or just plan cruising. The system can be used in as little as 6 inches of water and with optional Lift Kit, the drive can be raised or lowered from the cockpit with just the pull of a lever.  Kits are available in both Freshwater and Saltwater versions.




All Bassyaks will run off 12 volt battery (not included). We recommend Optima Yellow or Blue Top batteries.
