If you own an Ultralight 403 or 403C (with the ball mount) you can upgrade to this new mount, Part # 1970-00.

Note: Installing the new mount with the old (shorter pipe) motor pylon, that comes standard on the 403 and 403C, on certain kayaks with tall sterns may result in ventilation of the propeller. This is due to inadequate propeller depth at each of the four trim settings on the new mount. This includes the Bonafide SS 127, Hobie Pro Angler and Jackson Big Rig. Owners of those kayaks should either purchase a complete new 403A or 403AC motor (which will feature a 10 cm longer motor pylon pipe) or an aftermarket mount from Easy Mount.
